Senior Technical Product Lead, Distributed Compute

Jacob Everly

Technical product builder: AI tooling, distributed compute, and 0→1 systems.

Hello, I am Jacob. I prioritize solving hard problems with like-minded individuals. I take ambiguous, blank-page work to production, using frontier intelligence to accelerate myself and my teammates while doing the research and building the prototypes myself. Right now I lead the distributed compute product at Boundless.

In my spare time you’ll find me on a rugby pitch, reading, or on a golf course.

Senior Technical Product Lead, Distributed Compute @ Boundless

2024 - present

Took Boundless 0→1: a permissionless distributed compute marketplace (150+ providers, ~40× the nearest competitor). I translate cryptography research into shipped developer and operator products, coordinate research, engineering, and users across both sides of the market, and designed the mechanisms that drove compute to ~$0.10/GPU-hour (~30× below AWS) at 99.9% uptime.

10,000+ GPUs at peak
1.9M jobs run
~20 min setup, from weeks
$1B+ secured

Technical Product Manager @ Ava Labs

2023 - 2024

Took the research team's protocol work to production. Owned roadmap prioritization and upgrade-evaluation for the Avalanche core protocol, aligning research, engineering, and leadership on release tradeoffs, and led competitive analysis across rollups, subnets, and modular frameworks.

Systems Engineer @ Raytheon Technologies

2020 - 2023

Built integration, validation, and automated test frameworks for large-scale distributed systems under strict reliability and auditability requirements.
